In this unique project, artist Hamish Ta-Mé and cognitive neuroscientist Dr. Tamara Russell, have trained their eyes to make a mark and create a unique series of fine-art prints for exhibition and sale. These prints are the result of an innovative art/science collaboration. The science is based on a technique which measures and records eye movements as an individual views a picture (or indeed any stimulus). The art aspect of the project extends the traditional ways in which humans have “made their mark” and explores how the artist plays with our visual attention. From mask painting to the great masterpieces man has used his hands. These works are the result of man making a mark with his eyes.
